Tips to Apply
Find places of employment:
Become aware of what you will do occupationally and for what you are qualified:

Have you learned a job?
- Do you have special interests?
- What are you glad to do?
- Which labour times do you prefer?
- Where should your future place of employment be located?
Evaluate the job ad:
- Qualifications (closed apprenticeships etc.)
- Information about the company (amplitude, availability, ..)
- Do the required duties and responsibilities fit to your field of interest?
- Which anticipations does the business company have?
- What can you expect from the business company?
To apply written:
Letter of application:
- Appeal directly to the acceptor aloud job offer (try to avoid sentences like “Ladies and Gentlemen”)
- Pay attention to the formatting of your application (consider breaks, punctuation marks and spelling)
- Use typical fonts (like: Arial or Times New Roman)
Curriculum vitae:
Many of the personnel manager read the curriculum vitae BEFORE they read the letter!
For this reason it is extremely important to comply the following advices:
- The most suitable number of pages is 1-2.
- The relevant information for the place of employment should be stated.
- The layout has to be represented clearly.

Enclose the following things to your application:
- Certificate of employment (maximal of the last two companies)
- Last evidence of school
- Other certificates of performances (ECDL, forklift license and so on)
Ask the business 2 to 3 weeks after your application, if these actually has arrived.

Preparation for a job interview:
Read through the following things again:
- Application documents
- Job advertisement
- Certificates
- Information about the company (Homepage, etc.)
The job interview:
- Take all your application documents as well as recommendations with you
- Pay attention on appropriate clothes (well-kept, clean and elegant)
- Always be in eye contact with your opponent.
- Pay attention on a friendly appearance.
- Show interest in the business.
- Mention that you are looking forward to hearing from the decision.
